Shipping policy

Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.  If there is a problem that will delay your order we will contact you within 1 business day.

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at any of our store locations. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up - usually within 2 hours. We will send you an email/text when your order is ready along with instructions.  

Want it ready faster?  Call us and place a phone order and your order will be ready for immediate pick up.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Orders containing frozen pet food:

At this time, orders containing frozen pet food are only available for in-store or curbside pickup.

Orders containing all other pet food:

Customers in Illinois: Select “Delivery” as your shipping option and we will ship your order via SpeeDee for just $6

Customers outside Illinois:  UPS shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

Orders not containing pet food:

Orders over $49 ship free to the lower 48 states.  We offer $8 flat rate shipping to the lower 48 states for orders that do not meet the free shipping threshold.

International Shipping

We do not offer international shipping at this time. 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at customercare@twobostons.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you and make it right.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

At this time, we are not able to ship orders containing food to PO boxes.
